something that made me happy

I keep thinking about an ad that I saw at my gym a few days ago, out of the corner of my eyes. It was for a soap, and a lot of it was what I'd expect -- lots of images of soap and foam, and promises that it would make your skin feel soft and glow.
Then it switched to show an African-American woman with deep rich super-dark skin, sitting on a sofa. She looked middle-aged, with the sorts of curves that many middle-aged women have. And the subtitle underneath asked: "Can you feel the glow?"
For all its problems, the world is getting better in some ways.
